Auf Sweet/DTTW kann man seit gestern folgendes lesen - Tom erweitert erneut sein Spektrum, diesmal die erste eigene Produktion:

The book, written by Kate Torgovnick, is a real-life account of the world of collegiate cheerleaders. Torgovnick followed teams from Stephen F. Austin U., Southern U. and the U. of Memphis as they went from tryouts to the national championships.
"I read the book, got halfway into it and said, 'We have to do this,' " Murphy said. "It's a group of people that for them, it's all about winning. Any time you have a series about people who want something desperately, it's fodder for a fantastic soap opera."
Murphy will exec produce with Welling and A.J. Marcantonio, who heads up Welling's company.
Murphy said he imagines the show as a cross between "Election," "Saved" and "Heathers."

hab ich auch gestern schon gelesen und wusste dass uns das bevorsteht. Es war abzusehen dass er sich auf swas konzentrieren will, wo er auch Co-Executive Producer von SV ist. Er sagt ja auch immer wieder, dass ihn die Arbeit hinter der Kamera mehr gefällt. Mir gefällt das gar nicht, dass heißt ja, das wir ihn bald gar nicht mehr zu Gesicht kriegen, weil er nur noch hinter der Kamera tätig sein wird.

Unser Bekannter vom Set, mit dem wir uns in Vancouver getroffen hatten, erzählte auch, dass Tom das sehr gerne macht und sich Karriere dort auch sehr gut vorstellen kann.....

Schade für uns wenn er sich wirklich komplett zurückziehen würde!
Aber er scheint ja wirklich so eine extrem private Person zu sein, dass es für ihn so wohl wirklich die beste Lösung ist um im Business zu bleiben, sich aber aus der Öffentlichkeit etwas zurück zu ziehen. Nur um Interviews kommt er meiner Meinung nach als Producer nicht drumrum. Dann müssen wir halt immer alle Behind the screen Extras auf den produzierten DVDs verfolgen. Meist gibt es da ja Interviews der Producer.

Einerseits finde ich es schon traurig, aber für Tom finde ich es toll. Aber warten wir erstmal ab, es ist nicht aller Tage abend
Und geniessen wir erst die 9 Staffel ( und ich hoffe eine 10 Staffel )

Ich denk das sind einfach Gerüchte, bis April/Mai wird da denk ich noch nichts entschieden, schließlich is Smallville zusammen mit Supernatural theCWs Zugpferd

"TV MoJoe" (Josef Adalian) is reporting that the TV series based on the novel Cheer will be ordered as a presentation pilot to shoot soon for The CW. Variety is now referring to the project as Hellcats, and it is noteworthy to Smallville fans as it is produced by Tom Welling.
Tom's not the only superhero with his own show in the works - The CW has also picked up another presentation pilot, HMS, produced by Heroes' Hayden Panettiere.
Finally, there's Betwixt, a series based on a novel where "changelings in an urban setting are responsible for saving humans from evil." A full pilot will be shot for that one.
These projects follow the already-announced La Femme Nikita update and Amy Sherman-Palladino's The Wyoming Project.
Once all pilots are done and all deals are made, The CW will announce their full Fall schedules in May.

ne, die gucken nicht wie er ankommt, meist gucken sie ihn selber erst, und entscheiden dann, ob er in Serie geht. Manchmal wird eine Serie dann wieder verworfen(wie zum beispiel beim Aquaman Spin Off)

So und hier die ersten Bilder von Tom bei den Dreharbeiten von "Hellcats". Man muss ihn zwar ein wenig suchen, aber es ist ganz eindeutig Tom, der es sich wohl nicht nehmen lässt bei den vielen Mädels vor Ort dabei zu sein

@ Nici und Sue: wie ihr seht, hat Tom seinen Garderobenmann gleich mitgebracht . Er hat ja in Facebook geschrieben, das er seit einer Woche an einem Pilot dreht und dafür diese Woche 100 Stunden vor Ort war! Was für ein Job

Danke Katrin, fürs posten. Endlich mal was neues. Ich wusste gar nicht, dass die jetzt dabei sind. Wobei, klar SV ist ja jetzt durch und Tom hat Zeit sich dem zu widmen, der Workaholic. Anstatt erst mal Urlaub zu machen... arme Jamie...

Ja die Bilder habe ich heute früh auch schon endeckt, aber keine Zeit zum posten gehabt. *gg*
Ich musste auch erst mal suchen wo Tom ist. Aber schwer war es dennoch nicht.

Danke Süße^^. Tom ist wirklich nicht gleich zu finden *gg* Yeap, da haben Du und ich mit unserer Vermutung doch gleich ins Schwarze getroffen mit dem "Garderoben-Mann" der Ärmste, hoff der kommt auch mal zum Durchatmen. Sonst ist er wenn die Pause rum ist, erst recht urlaubsreif.
Ja, die Dreharbeiten haben gleich nach dem Staffelfinal-Dreh angefangen. Pause gönnt sich Tom nicht.
Jamie hats nicht leicht, da hat Sleepy recht. Aber sie unterstützt ihn halt und weiß sicher wie wichtig im gerade die erste Produktion ist.

Hmmm, ihr wisst wieder alle mehr als ich. Was ist das für eine Produktion, worum gehts da? Höre und lese zum ersten Mal davon, dachte er wollte irgendwas mit cheerleaders machen
Und das findet auch in BC statt....?? Wo denn, wisst ihr das? Auch in Beresford? Spielt er selber auch mit? Jaja ich weiss, bin ziemlich doof und out of order was TOM angeht.....
